Princess Kids Program Details?
Could anyone offer some details about how the kids program on Princess works? We're taking our 6 year old on the Grand during Thanksgiving. We've read all the stuff on princess.com, and searched the other popular web pages, but only get a general description. Any and all details about how the program is operated would be great! Specifically: If the ship has a lot of kids, does the Kid's area 'fill up' and turn away guests? Do you have to reserve a time, or can you drop-in? Are there special reservations for special events (meals, kids pizza night, whatever). When should we make reservations, as soon as we are on the boat? Should we plan to board early to ensure we get on the list? Are there any kids activities to avoid (or must-do)? Do the hours of the kids program accomodate parents that go on shore excursions? Royal Caribbean guarantees that the kids area will open 1/2 hour before the 1st excursion, and close no earler than 1/2 hour after they return. Does Princess do the same thing?
