San Diego Questions....

I have been trying to find a decent hotel that offered Free airport transfers and free transfers to the ship. Most of the ones I am finding are not available on our dates. My question is: How far and how much for a cab from the airport to the downtown area (gaslamp area?).....and then about how much and how far for a cab to Pier? Thanks!!
