Booking for Carribean cruise from the UK

Hi, Looking to book a Western Carribean cruise but am unsure whether I should book a cruise direct then arrange flights myself or go for a 'package' where flights and typically 1 nights accommodation are included? Any thoughts? Also if doing via package then any recommendations for who to book through? Thanks
